Tim Thompson is the Innovation Programs Manager for the National GEM Consortium (GEM). Leveraging his expertise in public policy and a passion for innovation, he drives transformative change within the consortium. Tim focuses on empowering researchers and universities within the GEM network by overseeing the implementation of GEM’s programming for the National Science Foundation’s Partnerships for Innovation (PFI) grant. Through his strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach, he fosters an environment of innovation and creativity, working closely with researchers to maximize the impact of available resources in support of GEM’s mission.
